Dear Frank,

Thank you for your quality workmanship on our recent bathroom renovation.  We are happy to provide this reference to your potential clients for any renovation or construction project that you feel that you’re qualified to undertake.

Our three-piece basement bathroom needed renovating because of extensive water damage from burst pipes.  Although the previous owners had updated the bathroom in the late ‘90s, they had left old plumbing on the exterior wall above the frost line.

In the summer of 2004, we hired Main Renovations to:

- remove and dispose of exterior wall, subfloor and substructure and ceiling of powder room
- remove pipes above sink plumbing
- install new framing members, insulation, vapor barrier and drywall on outer walls.
- repair broken concrete floor, build new subfloor with Ditra-mat waterproof membrane, Styrofoam insulation and 1/2" plywood
- install new heating duct in ceiling
- re-route wiring for new lights
- tile floor and baseboards and headspace above existing shower surround
- install new pedestal sink and taps, re-connect existing toilet

Main Renovations kept the work area very tidy throughout the renovation and installed a plastic dust barrier around the work site.

We would be happy to share our experiences with anyone looking to contract with a quality contractor.  Photos of the finishing job are attached.

Frank, we wish you every success and look forward to working with you again in the future.
