We own a 100 year old house in Centretown. We needed a contractor who understands and respects old houses. We were encouraged when we saw Main Renovations' website because it showed some nice work done in old houses.

We had three contractors over to look at our job and quote. We chose Main Renovations, partly because of his experience with older houses, but mostly because Frank listened to what we wanted, and was willing to make up his estimate with a breakdown, so we could see how far our budget would go, or if we might need to adjust our wish-list.

We did two jobs with Main Renovations, about 3 months apart, and our experience was consistent and positive. We were somewhat flexible with our timelines but we provided Frank the parameters that we needed, and he managed to fit them. And his invoices were what he had quoted. We would work with Main Renovations again without hesitating.
